Pete started out his working life as a Sports Therapist running his own business from 21 years of age. He decided that he needed to requalify and chose Physiotherapy as a natural succession. After three long hard years Pete qualified and started working in the NHS within the local hospitals of the South East.
Then came family life with the arrival of his first son Matthew. Pete decided to work part-time and look after his son at home. Within the next five years he managed to work and run a Sports Clinic for a National League, Rugby Union Football Club and was about to open two private clinics in the London City Centre.
When his second child, Emma, was born unfortunately she came with a few medical issues and turned the world on its head. Pete gave up work and spent the next five years being a 'stay at home dad' having on the job training! Hardest job he has ever had!
Then, in 2018 a chance meeting and a few beers later (with Steve Livens) Uncle Beef Ltd was born. However, then another calling came for Pete, to work back in the NHS Community Paediatric Department of a local hospital. Knowing the fantastic job that this team had provided for Emma, Pete was instantly drawn to the team and felt that another new chapter had begun.
You will normally find Pete working on a Saturday in the shop or flitting in and out within the week. He is normally trying to remember what goes where and desperately trying to catch up on the paperwork.
