Uncle Beef strives to source the best farmed meat within the UK for its products. This is why we have decided to use Aberdeen Angus beef from one Scottish Farm.
The family run farm is located on the Ayshire Coast, 28miles from Paisley and has been in the Scottish family for 200 years. Rising from sea level to 1,800ft the cattle are able to graze this superb grassland imparting beautiful flavour and enabling them to rear some of the finest Angus cattle.
On a weekly basis Uncle Beef purchase the raw product, identifying the origin and quality of the meat so we can guarantee you receive the best of each product every time. This is why Uncle Beef has opted to use Scottish Beef to give the best all-round look, taste and quality.
Uncle Beef is also in the process of creating and testing its own range of spice mixes. We are working hard to make the authentic mixes for Biltong, Droewors and Boerewors spice free from Gluten and Dairy with the knowledge of being able to supply customers with a clean fresh product.

We know at Uncle Beef we are creating a homemade product that we have total confidence in from the grass roots to the packaged product, showing a clear authentic fusion between British meat and South African spices.
Uncle Beef Ltd was founded in 2018 by Steve Livens & Peter Tame whom have been friends since 2017.
So why Uncle Beef?
Well Steve, a true Bok Supporter, has always been excited about Fire, Sport and Meat. So much in fact, he was always found next to a BBQ, watching sport, cooking and feeding people meat. So one day his nephew said “hey, Uncle Beef, what you got cooking this week?”

Uncle Beef is striving to create a product that delivers a fusion of South African spice with British meat that suits all needs and tastes from the Sportsperson to the general public who wants to enjoy a flavoursome meat snack.

Uncle Beef Ltd endeavour to process and send your order within a reasonable time frame.Please allow a 7 day turnaround once you have paid as all products are freshly made. If our supplier are out of stock of any items you have ordered we will inform you immediately to discuss options available.
All payments are in British Pound. We accept payment via PayPal through our website checkout. If you live within 5 mile radius of our registered business address, DA14 4JW, you qualify for a free home deilvery. In this circumstance please email your order to email@example.com , payment can then processed by Bank Transfer or Card Reader.
NB: You do not need to be registered with PayPal as you can pay by card through Paypal on checkout.
Due to the perishable nature of the goods any cancellation may be subject to full charge.
Delivery charges are calculated with a flat rate of £10.00 per order and we use a Next Working Day Delivery Service. There is a FREE delivery on all orders of £75 or more. For Scottish Highlands and UK Offshore Islands delivery charges please contact us for prices at firstname.lastname@example.org
Delivery date & time are given in good faith by Uncle Beef Ltd when arranged with the courier service. Uncle Beef Ltd accept no liability for direct or consequential loss or damage arising from delay in delivery if the Customer is not in to sign for the delivery.
Due to the perishable nature of some of our fresh meat products, we dispatch meat products fresh when in stock packed with ice packs in a special insulated container so the product will reach you in the best possible condition. Certain items will be sent frozen depending on our fresh stock levels and we will inform you accordingly.
Please note: Uncle Beef Ltd cannot be held responsible for defrosted meat products. Due to the weather conditions or a delayed courier service, it’s possible for it to thaw, so please keep that in mind when ordering large quantities.
All product weights for delivery are calculated including any product packaging e.g. 500g of Boerewors’ + icepack + packaging = delivery charge.
If you are not able to accept your delivery on the day that we inform you it will arrive, you can arrange for the following but only before your goods are dispatched:
1) Arrange for a different delivery day
2) Ask for parcel to be left safe on your premises, at your risk
3) Ask for your parcel to be left with a neighbour at your risk
4 ) Contact the courier company to re- arrange for the delivery (additional charges may apply) to be made to you or collection from the depot.
You must notify us within 36 hours of dispatch notification if you have not received your goods.
6. DAMAGE OR LOSS IN TRANSIT AND SHORTAGES:
Any damage to goods in transit should be notified to the carriers immediately and to the Company within 24 hours of receipt.
7. REFUND POLICY:
We endeavour always to ensure our products are of the highest standard. If, however, we have not met your expectations, please let us know and we will gladly arrange a refund for you. Do not throw away the product you deem as faulty, send the product back to us, and we will arrange a re delivery/refund. Any requests for refunds must be made within 7 days of receipt of the order. Delivery charges are not included in any refund policy and the customer is responsible for the costs of returning any goods, unless otherwise decided by Uncle Beef Ltd.
8. PRIVACY & SECURITY:
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 & GDPR legislation 2016). The information collected from customers when signing up is used for billing ,administration and product recall purposes only and will be kept confidential. Contact information collected will be contact details only. None of which will be passed onto third parties.
